Yall, I can't tell you what an awesome session this was. The mama, Kristen, came into town to do portraits on her mother's ranch outside of Brenham. We both were watching the weather closely and were both more than a little worried if the rain would hold off. Thank God it did! Now, that doesn't mean this session was one with a record high temperature. I think the high that day was a whopping 24 degrees, with strong winds and wind chills in the low teens!! SOOOOO cold. But Kristen was a trooper (who can tell she's wearing jeans under that gorgeous dress?!). We wrapped her up in fur blankets in between set ups and worked a lot behind her mother's ranch house so the wind wouldn't be a huge issue. Pretty challenging session, weather-wise, but man, I am sooo glad that we made this session happen. I am so proud of these portraits and I hope you guys enjoy some of my favorites!
