The Newborn Experience
Newborn sessions are so personal to me. You have just come home with a brand new baby. Maybe this is your first and you are so nervous! Maybe you have a large family and you are adding one more piece to your family puzzle. Everyone's experience with a new baby is unique and it is my job to capture your family, showcase your personalities, and highlight that newest bundle of joy!
What to Expect
1. Pre-session
Consult
The pre-session consult is designed to allow you and I to discuss all the ideas and details that will make your session unique. Consults are typically done in your home and are a great time to determine your framing or album needs as well as preview your space and lighting opportunities.
2. During your
Session
Newborn sessions will last up to 2.5 hours. I take cues from baby from the very start. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. Your session will consist of both lifestyle poses with family as well as formal posed portraits using wraps, props, and backdrops. I create a relaxed environment so baby (and you!) can have an enjoyable time!
3. In Person
Ordering & Viewing
Once your portraits are hand edited and ready for viewing, an in person ordering appointment is set. I help you the entire way. This appointment is when prints, custom framing, and albums are decided on and ordered. You can expect to have your portraits ready to view within 2 weeks of your session
4. Custom
Installation
Once your heirloom artwork is ready for delivery, I personally see to it that your memories are hung with care and add value to your home.
All custom framed portraits come archivally framed with hardware and are deemed to last for hundreds of years
5. Continuing
Relationship
To me, my clients are my friends. I work hard to create an experience that fosters appreciation and true happiness. It is my job to make your feel as comfortable with me as possible so that I can capture true emotions and freeze frame your memories. The relationships I have with my clients means the world to me!
