Hello Miss Emmi! Isn't she a doll?! I have been wanting to share this amazing session with you, but man, Summer came on full force! I was so excited to be able to photograph Miss Emmi in her first days of life. Most of my newborn sessions are done in the client's home. That makes it more comfortable for baby, mama, and any other family members who will be part of the session. We started off her session with a little help from Big Sis, Henley. She was absolutely infatuated with her new baby sister! She was so gentle with Emmi: cuddling her, kissing her head, and just beaming with joy. Here a few of my favorite shots of the sisters:
Once Henley got her fill of sister cuddles, it was time for Emmi's solo. She never cried! I have been blessed to photograph some very calm, happy newborns in my day, but Emmi took the cake. She loved to my soft wraps and was a perfect little model. She did stay awake for most of the second portion of her session, but I'm convinced she just didn't want to miss the action! we even got to incorporate Mom & Dad's Aggie rings. Whoop!
