Round Top Wedding: The Wander Inn: Austyn + Hunter

Updated: Jan 14, 2022

Even though the world is upside down right now, I couldn't help but share with you this beautiful couple and their special Round Top, Texas wedding day. When bride, Austyn, contacted me to capture their special day, I jumped at the chance to photograph an elopement-style intimate wedding at the famous Junk Gypsies' Wander Inn. Not only was the location funky, fun, and beautifully styled, but Austyn and groom, Hunter, were so much fun to work with. Their love for each other was obvious and they made me laugh throughout the entire day. Come enjoy some of my favorite portraits from the Weeks' fun Texas-style wedding!

Pre-Ceremony Prepping

I loved that the couple chose to keep it traditional and not see each other before the ceremony. The Wander Inn was set up perfectly to accommodate this scenario. Bride and Groom both had a designated house to get ready in, totally separate from one another. And the homes' decor was perfect for the boho-chic, signature Junk Gypsy style that Austyn was going for. I was able to pop between each house to capture both portraits of the families as well as intimate detail images of their prep. Austyn was calm and collected, but you could tell that Hunter was a little nervous!

Little did I know that Austyn had already set up a way for Hunter to relax and crack a smile before the ceremony began. I present you with....... the "first look"!

He sure is a looker, ain't he?

The Ceremony

The ceremony was so beautifully planned out by the bride, groom, and family members. Everyone pitched in to help make this a special moment for Austyn and Hunter. I couldn't get over that the client and family drove from Florida to Texas with ALL of the items needed to make the Weeks' day beautiful, including the flowers! You can see the excitement and joy on both the bride and groom's faces throughout the whole ceremony.

Mr. & Mrs. Weeks

Is it just me or do they look like a modern day version of Barbie and Ken? And these two had such love for each other. It really was so sweet to see how they interacted, laughed together, and genuinely enjoyed their special day together. We were able to sneak off for a few moments after the ceremony in order to capture just the two of them. Here area few of my favorites:

The Details

Not a single detail was missed for this sweet ceremony. You can tell that the family spent a lot of time planning out how to make this day so special. Like I said before, the family drove from Florida to Texas packed with all of the items needed for the big day. I was so impressed at how hard they worked to pull everything together. Plus, the Wander Inn was a perfect backdrop to highlight the special details of the Weeks weding.

I can't say enough about this sweet couple. Their love was shining all day long and I am so impressed with how their special day turned out. Big congrats to Austyn and Hunter and I can't wait to see what the future holds for you two love birds!

Much Love,
